CULTURAL RESOLUTIONS
Redeeming Hope seeks to be a place where anyone, of any faith background or orientation, can come to sincerely and genuinely explore the life and teachings of Jesus for themselves. We seek to be a safe place for the spiritually curious to learn, grow, share, and engage with the story and the people of Jesus.
This is why we share the following Values at our Gatherings and in our Groups:
Even if you don’t identify as a follower of Jesus, you’re welcome here. We want you to see what the Bible actually says about Jesus (not what you hear in the news, exaggerated stories, or what someone told you the Bible says). We want you to see it for yourself, in plain words and simple language, so that you can make an informed decision on whether or not you believe in the life and teachings of Jesus.
Even if you don’t believe the Bible is true, you’re welcome here. We do not want you to check your intelligence or skepticism at the door. We read, teach, and value the reading of the Scriptures because Redeeming Hope believes that the Bible is divinely inspired. We’ve all heard about the Bible, but what does it actually say? We want to invite you to consider IF the Bible is true, what would that change in your life?
If you are hurting, you’re welcome here. We know it’s a huge step for many people to come to a church after being maligned, marginalized, or disenfranchised by people who often don’t live like the Jesus they claim to follow. We are thankful you are interested and for those of you who show up, we make a commitment to value and care for your soul.
If you have questions, you’re welcome here. We welcome questions! Please write them down and talk to one of our pastors after the Gathering or text our church number at 931.326.4512. No question is off limits or too weird to bring up. We want to truly explore the question of “why not believe this” with you!
